Ziggy was born and raised in Utica, known and loved by so many wonderful friends and family. On March 19th, 2024 life would drastically change for him. On that day Ziggy went to the Oneida ER after not feeling well. An MRI showed a great cause for concern and Ziggy was transported to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. Another MRI on March 23, 2024 led to a biopsy, which confirmed Ziggy has Gioblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer. The location of the tumor is located in the Thalamus section of the brain, making it inoperable. Ziggy is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, daily, along with physical therapy.
